Save the Dates
To cut down on costs, I designed my own "save
the date" cards to inform friends and family
about my upcoming wedding.
I found the background picture on a stock art
website, and altered it to fit the dimensions
of the postcard. I then added text, and printed
them off with the help of the lovely folks at
Vistaprint.

Tobacco Free Patients Newspaper Ads
I designed these black-and-white advertisements
for display in local newspapers while working
at Clinical Tools. They appeared in the Chapel
Hill News, Daily Tar Heel, Duke Chronicle, and
Independent Weekly.

HealthProposal.net Journal Ad
This advertisement was designed for publication
in a scientific journal for veterinary medicine.
HealthProposal.net submits grants to the NIH,
so it made sense to target scientists who would
use these grants. |

HealthProposal.net Pilot
HealthProposal.net
is an online grant submission service to the NIH,
developed at Clinical Tools, Inc. There are two
different kinds of budgets that can be submitted
in grants, modular and full. Full budgets are
more complicated. When HealthProposal.net began
supporting full budgets, we thought it best to
notify the scientific community to generate more
interest in our product.

HealthProposal.net Map
I designed the postcard to show how widespread
HealthProposal.net's
users are across the country. It's my belief that
if people realize that we can fully support grant
submissions from outside the Triangle area, we'll
get more support nationwide.

HealthProposal.net and NIH Commons
The Electronic Research Administration
(ERA) Commons is a virtual meeting place where
organizations and individuals who have received
NIH grant support and the public can receive and
transmit information about the administration
of their research. HealthProposal.net
interfaces with Commons to automatically populate
form fields for the hopeful grantee, saving him
or her time in the submission process.
